Camping with Avery

Is he not the cutest? This is my grandson, Avery. This is what I've been doing instead of painting, camping with the kids. Got some good scenery pictures of Sugar Creek to use as reference photos. Maybe this one should turn into a painting?

Progress

Worked on this figure today, not sure if it's improved or not! Also, had my photo shoot today for the upcoming "Women of a Certain Age" calendar. Be sure to look for it, coming out to accompany the exhibit of the same name in October.

Value study

I have a new iPhone and just added the bloggerplus app. Now able to post blogs from my phone, don't have to wait til I'm home at my desk top. This means more frequent blogs! Woo Hoo! just started this new figure painting, now waiting on the first layer to dry... getting ready for two shows at the Stutz, October and November. More to come!
